What happened to Ryan Paris?

At the beginning of the 80's the Italian singer Ryan Paris played small roles in some
famous films (eg. Once Upon a Time in America by Sergio Leone with Robert de Niro
as main actor).
In 1983 he recorded a song called "Dolce Vita" wich was a huge success.

In 1999 he lived in Frankfurt (Germany) and was working on a remake of "Dolce vita 99",
which was co-produced and remixed by the italian stars DJ Dado and DJ Discoking.
