June Pointer, a member of the Pointer Sisters, died April 11 of cancer. She was only 52 years old and the youngest member of the group, which also featured her sisters Ruth, Anita & Bonnie. In the 80's the group had hits like "I'm so excited", "He's So Shy", "Automatic", "Jump (For My Love)" and many others.
