Grant McLennan, lead singer and songwriter in Australian group the Go-Betweens, died in Australia on may 8, 2006. He was 48. McLennan died in his sleep at his home in Brisbane. It is thought that he suffered a heart attack. With the Go-Betweens he released a couple of albums in the 80's. And the band split in 1989. After that he played with the band Jack Frost and also released four solo albums.
